Ecuatii de gradul II

Se dau ecuatiile \( x^2+ax+b=0 \) si \( x^2+cx+d=0 \) . Daca ac=2(b+d) sa se arate ca cel putin una din ecuatii are radacini reale .

Presupunem prin absurd ca niciuna nu are radacini reale
deci
\( a^2-4b<0 \)
\( c^2-4d<0 \)
de unde b si d sunt strict pozitive.

inmultim relatiile si obtinem
\( a^2c^2<16bd \)

stim ca \( 4(b+d)^2=a^2c^2 \)

din cele 2 relatii obtinem \( 4(b-d)^2<0 \) .
Contradictie!

Asadar macar una dintre ele are radacini reale.
